The Corporation's new Board members begin two year terms on July 1, 2012.
The Board meetings will be scheduled each month on the second Wednesday at 1 PM, and Center members are welcome to attend. There is time scheduled at each meeting to hear from you about problems, suggestions, and opportunities, as well as sharing any unmet needs. The Center staff and Board members want our Center to be the best possible at all times - for YOU! Please let us know your thoughts on improving the Center and its programs and activities.
The Corporation has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be a non-profit, tax exempt, public charity. This allows the Corporation to raise funds for the programs and activities at the Center, submit grant applications, and accept donations and contributions. These activities will also give donors tax deductions to the extent the law allows. The effective date of the 501(c)(3) is March 2, 2012.
