Additional Information

hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhon statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

Kirkwood’s Season 2022-23 Opening Concert features Steinway Artist, Martin Labazevitch.  His extraordinary playing has been heard in concert halls and festivals throughout the world, as well as the US.  Born in Poland, Mr. Labazevitch studied at the Odessa Conservatory in Ukraine, before immigrating to the US in 2000. He graduated from the Manhattan School of Music, and later obtained a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree. As a Steinway Artist, Mr. Labazevitch is the co-artistic director of the Puerto Rico International Piano Festival in San Juan, serves on the board of directors of the Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition in New York City and is the founder and artistic director of the Kosciuszko Foundation Chopin Piano Competition and Chopin Piano Academy in Washington  DC.

The Kirkwood audience will experience the Schubert Piano Sonata in G-major and selections from Chopin. Fanfare Magazine states: “His way with Chopin is fluid and convincing. He plays with a superb control of rubato and has the most beautiful way of melting a phrase.”
